TECH-AIR®7x brings evolution to the ALPINESTARS airbag system segment by using the latest technological features. The standalone, electronically controlled TECH-AIR®7x airbag vest is the successor to the popular TECH-AIR RACE series and is suitable for both racing and circuit riding thanks to its FIM racing homologation, as well as for sports riding enthusiasts. The system is more compact and comfortable, yet still fully compatible with AirbagReady® suits. Thanks to our experience on the circuit, you can rely on this airbag vest to work as it should in our suits and jackets.

TECH-AIR®7x offers comprehensive protection for the shoulders, chest and back, as well as an extended section to protect the coccyx. It also features a low-profile back panel with a comfortable, breathable, sophisticated stretch vest.

This system is ready for insertion into AirbagReady® jackets and suits. It also allows for a cable connection to the LED panel on the forearm for better information about the current status and functions of the airbag vest. Users can replace the compressed gas cartridges themselves after the airbag has been activated, but after the fourth activation of the system, an inspection by an authorised service centre is required.

Suitable for circuit riding and sports riding.

Protection for the shoulders, chest, back, coccyx and torso, together with passive back protection thanks to a CE-certified back protector.

The active electronic system includes 4 detection sensors.

The system complies with FIM requirements.

The vest is CE certified according to category II PPE (personal protective equipment) according to EU Regulation 2016/425.

CE certification of the airbag system is included in the standard Dolomiticert test for electronically activated protectors with air protection.

Back protector extended to the coccyx, certified according to EN 1621-4:2018 Level 2.

Fastest inflation time > 44 ms (inflation speed varies depending on the size of the vest).

Integrated LED display located on the front fastening cuff shows current system activity, current battery status and remaining number of activations.

Option to connect to an external LED panel on the sleeve.

Charging via USB-C connector.

Certified for use in temperatures from -10 °C to 50 °C according to ECE R10 04.

Extensive perforation system for excellent airflow.

Stretch panels on the sides of the torso to ensure a perfect fit.

Deflation system with automatic release valve.

The inner bag of the system is certified for up to 4 consecutive inflations.

The end user can replace the cartridges.

Bag replacement and preventive professional service checks must be carried out by an authorised service centre in order to comply with the full product warranty conditions.

The recommended interval for preventive professional service checks is 2 years or 500 hours of active riding recorded by the vest's telemetry system.
