The Enduro S4 jacket is the solution for full-time adventure riders and year-round dual-sport riders who need a perfectly versatile suit when hot weather turns to inevitable rain. With full-body stretch properties, the Enduro S4 cover shell fits perfectly with the Baja S4 adventure suit, fits over off-road armour, or functions as a waterproof soft shell for your camping gear in inclement weather.
This is a set for inclement weather (rain, cold) that is specifically designed for use in combination with the new super-breathable and maximally mobile BAJA S4 set.
The Enduro S4 jacket and trousers are the solution for riders who use breathable enduro or touring clothing and want comfort even when riding in rain and cold. The combination of Enduro S4 + Baja S4 provides a versatile set for virtually all riding conditions, including the hottest weather. The Enduro S4 set is flexible (elastic) and is designed for use over clothing with protectors. It does not have any protective equipment or pockets for protectors. It can be used separately for various leisure activities - not for use on a motorbike. It can be worn over other suits or suits from other manufacturers, but it is always necessary to check the comfort, as the Enduro S4 is designed to be relatively tight-fitting and relies on the elasticity of the material, and the dimensions of some protective suits may be larger than the dimensions corresponding to the size of the Enduro S4 jacket or trousers. In most cases, when used with Baja S4 jackets and trousers, the same size Enduro S4 is suitable (if you have Baja size XL, you will probably need XL overalls).
The Schoeller®-Dynatec® panels on the Baja S4 clothing not only offer excellent ventilation but also superior protection against abrasion in the event of a fall and durability in everyday use. Klim has opted to reinforce critical areas with Superfabric® (as on the Badlands Pro model) to increase resistance to falls on hard surfaces, especially on the road. D3O level 1 protectors (shoulders, elbows, knees, hips and back) are included.
Klim also anticipates use with a separate protective shirt and shorts for enduro riding, in which case the integrated protectors can be easily removed, but thanks to the L1 version, it is usually possible to use them simultaneously with soft protective underwear such as the Tactical series in our range. For protection against bad weather, the set has been supplemented with a water-resistant cover made of flexible material, which can of course be used in combination with any other non-waterproof clothing, but is specifically designed as a cover over Baja S4 clothing. The sizes are designed so that, for example, a size L coverall can be worn over a size L jacket, which would otherwise be too large on its own. However, it is intended to be used as a coverall. The design of the Enduro S4 jacket and trousers had one fundamental requirement - that the wearer should not feel like they are in a plastic bag, which is a very common feeling when using various raincoats and waterproofs. The overcoat jacket and trousers can be rolled up into a small roll.
Ventilation is the first thing that sets the Baja S4 apart from the competition on the market. Klim understands that each additional layer limits breathability and ventilation, which is why Schoeller®-Dynatec® nylon mesh panels with a very thin lining that wicks moisture away from the body were used as much as possible. Even the pockets are positioned so as not to restrict airflow (even at the expense of accessibility). The result is simply enduro clothing for adventurous journeys, in which you will feel comfortable even when it is boiling hot outside - and without compromising on protection. Leaving aside ventilation and comfort, we must mention the panels made of Karbonite™ 1000D Stretch micro-mesh fabric – a material that is highly breathable yet flexible. It does not restrict movement at all. This makes the design more comfortable and does not restrict the rider's movement. As this is an enduro/adventure suit, there is a pocket on the back for a 2-litre hydration bladder to increase comfort when riding in hot weather. You don't need to use a rucksack with a hydration bladder. The jacket is complemented by a pair of ventilation openings on the sleeves and a horizontally positioned exhaust ventilation opening on the back. The outfit is complemented by extremely breathable Baja S4 gloves - they protect in the event of a fall and are very well ventilated thanks to the direct ventilation of the TPU protectors.
