Climate control
Ventilation: Equipped with REV 'IT!'s patented VCS AQUADEFENSE Systems ventilation, it is easy to regulate your body temperature, even while riding. If necessary, openings on the chest and thighs allow air to flow through the three-dimensional ballistic MESH fabric. The flaps remain open thanks to the FIDLOCK magnetic closure that holds them open.
On the jacket, the large VCS (Ventilation Control System) front ventilation gives you 3 centimetres wide ballistic MESH and lets air flow throughout the core. With a double zip, the mesh panel can be closed if it gets cold or rainy. Waterproofing is ensured by a TIZIP slider when closing the main zip of the jacket.
Additional ventilation is located on the upper arms, forearms, back and back of the legs to maximise airflow throughout the suit.
Mid layer: Both the jacket and trousers come with a removable mid layer so that the clothing can be used in a wide range of temperatures. The removable mid layer jacket is a thermal jacket with a wind barrier that can be used as a leisure jacket when you are not cycling. It has two pockets on the sides and one on the chest. Waterproofing Waterproof membrane: The Compañero Rambler Pro is completely waterproof, breathable year-round clothing made from the highest quality Gore-Tex Pro laminated material. The membrane is bonded between a durable outer layer and a strong inner material, providing an incredible 28,000 millimetres of water column for ultimate waterproofing that prevents the material from getting wet. This speeds up drying, helps evaporate cooling and blows away water droplets when they drip into the air.
Storm collar: In bad weather conditions, the removable collar is waterproof and windproof thanks to the Gore-Tex Pro 3 laminate element. Its neoprene collar makes it soft on the skin, and the magnet closure provides adjustment and easy handling: work with just one hand. Comfortable cut: The entire suit allows for a wide range of movement while meeting AAA testing specifications for protective clothing. This helps you maintain your condition and, above all, your concentration while riding. Its sporty cut is reinforced with stretch panels at the knees, waist and seat, ensuring a comfortable fit and extra freedom of movement for even greater riding comfort. Various compression straps in strategic areas such as the waist, back, elbows and forearms can be individually adjusted. They are easier to adjust and loosen.
The integrated, detachable kidney belt stabilises and supports the lower back and can be detached and stored invisibly in the jacket lining when not in use.
A small addition: the kidney belt has small hidden pockets for credit cards or other documents .
Real details: The thoughtful details of this jacket, such as the zips on the sleeves, make it easy to put on and take off. The zips on the jacket's hook allow maximum freedom of movement and comfort when sitting on the bike.
The jacket can be attached to the trousers by fastening the zip at hip level. A smaller zip on the lumbar area of the trousers is used to attach the straps.
