With an extended field of vision that exceeds standard requirements by 15%, the Travel Carbon helmet allows you to immerse yourself in the ride and the landscape around you. To ensure the best possible protection in the event of a fall, the ultra-lightweight X-PRO carbon fibre helmet shell is highly impact resistant. This technology combines experience from the aerospace industry with the use of 3K carbon, resulting in a lightweight construction and setting a new safety standard.
Maximum silence and comfort
Your adventure deserves your full attention. The advanced soundproofing system and helmet construction provide optimal sound insulation: Silent Travel Seal, double rubber seal around the visor and noise-reducing chin section ensure top performance. In addition, noise-reducing cheek pads reduce air turbulence and wind noise.
The three-dimensional design of the foam cheek pads adapts perfectly to the shape of your head thanks to the Morpho-Fit system. The fully removable, washable comfort inner lining is seamlessly designed to prevent pressure points.
Optimal airflow
Ventilation openings on the chin and top of the helmet direct airflow into specially designed ventilation channels, ensuring optimal air circulation. Two ventilation openings help prevent feelings of heat and stuffiness at higher temperatures. In addition, the unique honeycomb mesh of the inner padding of the crown creates a cooling air chamber. Equipped with X-Mart Dry technology, an additional 3D mesh in the cheek pads, they dry twice as fast as cotton pads.
At the forefront of innovation, however, is the central airflow chamber, a patented system that allows cool air to circulate freely around the head between the EPS layers and quickly dissipates hot air through the exhaust vents at the rear of the helmet.
Double homologation
The new Touratech Aventuro Travel Carbon helmet offers the same protection as a full-face helmet when travelling. Thanks to the flip-up function, prescription glasses can be put on very easily, the camera viewfinder can be used without having to remove the helmet, and communication with the passenger is simple and comfortable.
Another advantage over other flip-up helmets is its dual certification as both a full-face and open-face helmet. This means that even when flipped up, the helmet is homologated and can be worn open, e.g. in the city or in high temperatures.
Sun visor
The aerodynamically shaped helmet visor is lightweight and has been specially designed to improve airflow and minimise turbulence and vibration at high speeds, while protecting the face from the sun. The additional front extension is removable and can be easily extended or shortened: simply pull it out to extend it and push it back in to retract it. The integrated sun visor can be lowered using a sliding button on the left side of the helmet. The mechanism is robustly constructed and the sun visor can be lowered far enough to cover the entire field of vision.
