T-MICRO is a material composed of microfibres that are a thousand times thinner than silk. It behaves like natural leather, but is stronger, softer and lighter. In addition, it is water-resistant, dries quickly, is breathable and is an ideal material for making shoe uppers. The abrasion- and mould-resistant material is easier to clean than leather. SIDI believes this is a very good step forward, as microfibres are a high-tech material, even better than leather, which retains marks such as creases.
