Form and function in fashionable harmony
Inspired by designs that are used throughout the outdoor segment, form and function are combined in fashionable harmony. That's not to say it's a compromise - rather the exact opposite. The strategically matched, abrasion-resistant Cordura® ripstop and PWR|Shell stretch ripstop materials give the Component 3 H2O a hard-wearing, durable look that is lightweight and clearly functional. With 100% windproof and waterproof 3L Hydratex lamination, taped seams, Level 1 SEESMART protectors and an additional pocket for a Level 2 SEESOFT back protector, the Component 3 H2O leaves nothing to be desired.
Small changes. Big difference.
We know that small changes can make a big difference. That's why we have optimized the pocket configuration. As the opening of the pocket now faces away from the body, the contents are easier to reach with or without gloves. We've also added a CFZ VCS|Aquadefence ventilation zipper (CFZ stands for Center Front Zipper), which allows more direct airflow to the body when you need it most. The shape of the detachable hood has also been redesigned so that it fits better and hugs the rider's head instead of resting on top of the rider's head. The movement-friendly silhouette makes for a casual outdoor lifestyle look, while the fit has been designed primarily to fit over our Proteus protector jacket when you really want to get into the adventure. And with a unisex fit and revised sizing, the Component 3 H2O is now suitable for both men and women, offering a better fit in a range of sizes, especially for narrower body shapes.

A three-layer CORDURA® with ripstop features.
PWR|Shell Ripstop-Stretch
Thanks to its special ripstop weave, durability and abrasion resistance are among the special characteristics of PWR|Shell. Thick threads woven in at regular intervals as reinforcements prevent the fabric from tearing.
hydratex I 3L
A 3-layer construction; the hydratex|3L membrane has a protective layer of tricot fabric laminated to the back of the membrane. This results in a waterproof and breathable membrane that is also very durable.
CFZ VCS|Aquadefence
The CFZ VCS|Aquadefence (Center Front Zipper) system integrates direct ventilation options that allow the front zipper to be opened to improve air circulation while maintaining the waterproofness of the garment and preventing inflation.
Comfort collar
The comfort collar means extra coziness in critical areas. An extra soft fabric ensures a cozy atmosphere.
Laminated, reflective material
Reflective panels ensure excellent visibility so that the wearer can be seen from any direction. The reflective panels are welded to the fabric for a refined look. This also saves seams, which benefits safety.
Active fit - Active Fit
Active Fit means full freedom of movement while minimizing material that could restrict mobility. It is intelligently tailored and adapts to the body where necessary. At the same time, it allows unrestricted mobility during active movements.
SEESOFT Level 2 back protector
The back pocket in this REV'IT! piece is tailor-made for the SEESOFT Level 2 back protector type RV - a simple upgrade for even more safety.
SEESMART Level 1 protectors
SEESMART protectors offer maximum flexibility. At the same time, they fulfill impact tests according to EN 1621-1:2012 Level 1 at both normal and high (T+) ambient temperatures.
Compatible with Avertum Tech-Air® airbag system
Under this garment you can wear the REV'IT! Avertum Tech-Air® airbag or a Tech5 airbag if you buy it one size larger than your normal size. If you want to wear a garment that is labeled “Ready for Avertum Tech-Air® airbag system”, you must be sure that the garment can accommodate the expansion of the airbag.
Rev'It! therefore recommends that you follow the fitting instructions below:
- Measure the chest circumference and divide the value by two
- Measure the garment flat on the chest line
- If the difference between point 1 and point 2 is twelve centimeters or more, the garment is suitable for wearing over the airbag.
