The most durable adventure outerwear just got tougher with the redesigned second-generation Badlands Pro A3 jacket. The legendary Badlands Pro has earned its reputation as the most combat-ready adventure gear on Earth, and now, with next-generation fabrics in key areas, we're taking it to the next level – literally. By creating an even stronger and more durable Badlands Pro, we have also continued the legacy of the first-ever GORE-TEX motorcycle garment to be CE AAA certified according to EN 17092-2.
The jacket is made of 3-layer Gore-Tex motorcycle laminate combined with the latest Gore-Tex Pro. This material offers the highest durability and breathability of any Gore-Tex material on the market today. The main part of the jacket consists of panels made of SPL200 Gore-Tex trilaminate, complemented by FPL 400 trilaminate. The areas above the protectors - elbows, shoulders and part of the sleeves - are reinforced with SuperFabric, which is softer than before and is made exclusively for Klim, as indicated by the logo in the grid. This also made it possible to use Superfabric with variable density. In addition, carbonite RipStop 500D was used in some areas for even greater resistance in the event of a fall. Klimatek material was also used in the jacket for the first time to increase the breathability of the linings. Klimatek is also much more comfortable on bare skin - many riders wear short-sleeved T-shirts, and the Klimatek lining is similar to the material used to make seamless underwear and does not irritate the skin even when sweating profusely. The entire interior is also treated with an antibacterial finish from Swedish manufacturer Polygiene.
